Tryathlon

The Weetbix Tryathlon again proved to be popular this year with 28 students taking part. Although the Tsunami warnings changed the course, all competitors finished the course and most will be back for the challenge next year!

Go by Bike Day

Over 62 students biked to school for the annual Go by Bike Day and enjoyed a free breakfast upon their arrival. There has been a huge increase in the number of cyclists since the creation of a cycle path outside the school and the establishment of two cycle trains to and from school each day. Many children are also training at lunchtimes for the upcoming Weetbix Tryathlon.

Football Coaching

All of our students have benefitted from George Campbell 's football coaching. George (from the Nelson Football Association) has visited our school twice a week this term and provided great tips to our keen players.
